I have enjoyed serving my first term as a Diocesan Trustee, as the Trustees have struggled to provide financial relief to parishes while also keeping the financial health of the Diocese foremost in mind. I would be pleased to serve another term as a Diocesan Trustee from the perspective of Christian Stewardship, the bedrock belief that all we have comes from God and that we are called to steward those resources well and to give back towards God’s purposes in the world.

The Diocesan Trustees hold title to all Diocesan property and act as agent for the Diocese, including receiving referrals from the Property Support Committee for major improvements, new construction and other major capital activities. They also act as the managers of all Diocesan assets, including all financial and real properties. My vision, if elected Trustee, is to bring my experience as a manager in IBM and as a steward of parish finances to any deliberation or review I have gained experience in financial management in IBM and as member of the Mid-Hudson Executive Committee. I would welcome the opportunity to serve our Diocese in this important role as Trustee.

Stewardship Education and Development teaches us that God is our creator. God created all things and continues to do so. Everything belongs to God and we are called to be caretakers or stewards of God’s creation. It therefore is with that educational teaching that I will be honored to make my contribution to serve on the Diocesan Trustee Board. The experiences I have obtained while serving for six consecutive years on Diocesan Council and Congregational Support Committee, coupled with my serving on other church and community committees have fully equipped me for taking on such a role to be Trustee. I will uphold the Canons of the Diocese in making sound and prayerful decisions if asked to serve.
